Vision

The vision of our Physics  Department is to Educate & train the students to have in-depth knowledge of the subject  both in theoretical and practical aspect of subject thereby making them develop confidence so that they can carry quality research  and will do some good for nation and mankind.

Mission

Excel in education and research in physics

Program Objectives

  1. To continuously improve results.
  2. To prepare and motivate the students for higher studies in NITs, IITs and universities, so that they do quality research.

Location

The department of physics is located in the west side of ground   floor of main building of the college comprising of two labs having attached HOD room and Lab Assistant room.

Message from the HoD

Physics is one of the most fundamental and indispensable of the sciences. Scientists of all disciplines make use of the ideas of physics. It will appeal to your sense of beauty as well as to your rational intelligence. Being the mother of most scientific phenomena, it covers a wide range; from the building blocks of universe like quarks, leptons, mesons, bosons to massive universal objects like supernova, neutron stars, black holes, dark matter etc. The subject has a dynamic research on how the universe was created, how the birth of life has took place and what are the future phenomena.
The Department was established in 2012 and presently has faculty strength of 02 members (Assistant Professors). The faculty members are perfectly talented and have an enormous potential to undertake all courses of the subject at the graduate level. They are using different communicative skills for the better understanding of the students. Finally it is not a tricky gained subject but it needs an enormous potential, patience, better understanding and the most important that is fertile minds.

All of physics is either impossible or trivial. It is impossible until you understand it, and then it becomes trivial.
